2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of data:

• Account data — email address and password hash when you register.
• Usage data — calculation inputs (greenhouse dimensions, crop type, luminaire selection) to generate your reports.
• Payment data — processed by our payment provider (Stripe/YooKassa). We do not store full card numbers.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, and access timestamps in server logs (retained 30 days).

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To send transactional emails (receipts, password resets).
• To detect and prevent abuse or fraud.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Legal Basis (GDPR)

For users in the EEA/UK, processing is based on: performance of a contract (account and subscription), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention), and your consent where required.

We use essential session cookies required for authentication. No third-party advertising cookies are set. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may not function correctly.

6. Data Sharing

We share data only with:

• Payment processors (Stripe / YooKassa) — to handle transactions.
• Hosting providers — servers located in the EU/Russia where the Service runs.
• Law enforcement — when required by applicable law.

7. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. After deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records up to 5 years).

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email ivan@ppfd-calc.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Security

We use HTTPS/TLS for all data in transit and bcrypt hashing for passwords. No system is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy. If changes are material, we will notify registered users by email.
